ViscobitViscobit is a polyethylene based wax, warm mix asphalt.Reduces production and paving temperature. Affords low viscosity above melting point and is well suited as a viscosity modifying additive for the production of warm mix asphalt. Additionally, Viscobit increases the hardness and softening point of the bitumen and improves deformation resistance. Has no negative effect on cold temperature stability and no sudden solidification.Dosage is 2 – 3% by weight of
bitumen.
Viscobit 200Viscobit 200 is a polar modified polyethylene wax, warm mix asphalt, asphalt with adhesion critical aggregates.Reduces production and paving temperature and positive effect to adhesion
to aggregates. Exhibits a low viscosity above its melting point and is well compatible with bitumen. The polar modification of Viscobit 200 allows for an improved adhesion to aggregates. May be used as viscosity modifier for the production of low temperature asphalt. Viscobit 200 improves the needle penetration value and softening temperature as well as the deformation behavior of the bitumen. Compared to other wax additives, VISCOBIT 200 has no adverse influence on cold-temperature behaviour of the low temperature asphalt, due to its unique molecular structure.
Dosage is 2 – 3% by weight of
bitumen.
Viscobit ADPROViscobit ADPRO is an asphalt with adhesion critical aggregates; for mastic and rolled asphalt.Adhesion improvement combined with increased deformation resistance. Viscobit ADPRO is well compatible with bitumen, increases hardness and softening point and improves deformation resistance. Additionally, Viscobit ADPRO improves the adhesion of the bitumen to aggregates.Dosage is 2 – 3% by weight of bitumen.
