SCW products feature organic acids, scale remover an hydrochlonic acids used in the cleanup of oil and gas wells, water injection, handling systems and surface equipment.
Product | Description | Benefits | Applications |
---|---|---|---|
SCW-7029 | SCW-7029 is an Organic Acid. | Blend of mild organic acids and surfactants. The product effectively dissolves iron oxides, iron sulfide and carbonate scales to clean equipment surfaces and the formation face to assure maximum productivity. Can be formulated for cold water climates. Less corrosive option than mineral acids. Combination with mineral acid create deeper penetration. | Designed for the cleanup of oil and gas wells, water injection, handling systems and surface equipment. |
SCW-7031 | SCW-7031 is a Scale Remover. | Series of water soluble scale remover. The product can also be used in the cleanup of oil and gas wells, water injection, handling systems and surface equipment. Contains a blend of mild organic acids, acid surfactants and corrosion inhibitors. | Designed for use in the treatment of heavily fouled water supply, water handling, and water injection systems. |
SCW-7035 | SCW-7035 is a Scale Remover. | Blend of mild organic acids, acid surfactants and corrosion inhibitors. Effective dissolving iron oxides, iron sulphide and carbonate scales. Biodegradable. | Designed for clean up within the oil & gas industry. |
SCW-7145 | SCW-7145 is a Hydrochlonic Acid. | Scale removal system comprised of surfactants, non-emulsifiers, mutual solvents, and an acid corrosion inhibitor blended in a 15% hydrochloric acid. Remove acid soluble aclae and other acid soluble materials. Utilised for formation stimulations where an inhibited acid is preferred. | Specifically designed for the cleanup of oil and gas wells, water injection, handling systems and surface equipment. |
Product and customer insights
Despite numerous cleanings, the productivity of the Reverse Osmosis plant would not recover from severe membrane fouling. The membrane autopsy revealed that the ferric hydroxide was seeding
silica polymerization and that even while the ferric hydroxide was removed, the silica scaling was continuing to grow.
The plant was experiencing weekly shutdowns for fiber clean up (~ 3 kg bags of matted slurry is cleaned per week). The shut downs were costly as they reduce plant availability for production.
The International Maritime Organisation (IMO) regulation, known as IMO 2020 was the the largest change in regulation relating to marine fuels impacting 75% of the fuel used by the shipping industry.
