| Rediseal™ | RediSeal™ is a high fluid loss squeeze pill application. | The new acid soluble, high fluid loss squeeze pill that increases leadoff hesitation by improving filter cake compressive strength. Fracture simulation rig originally designed and built by Strata for LCM bridge ability testing. Works by using a hydraulic arm to pressurize the polycarbonate cylinder. Currently using large polished rocks as test media to simulate the large fractures in the formation. Uses a hesitation squeeze technique to try and seal off the fractures, evaluating the bridge ability of the LCM pill. Time is measured for how long it takes for the pressure to bleed back after a squeeze. The pressure where it stabilises is also recorded. | RediSeal improves the compressive strength of the filter cake, thereby increasing leadoff hesitation. On average, compressive strength on these filter cakes is about 150-400 psi. |
