A S Harrison & Co offers a comprehensive range of premium grease additives designed to enhance the performance of lubricants. Our portfolio includes both multifunctional products and those tailored for specific attributes, ensuring a solution for every lubrication need.
One of our key offerings is ashless extreme pressure additives. These additives are crucial in protecting metal surfaces under high-stress conditions by forming a protective film, thus preventing wear and extending the life of machinery. In addition, our anti-wear and rust inhibitors play a vital role in safeguarding equipment. Anti-wear additives minimise the degradation of surfaces in contact, while rust inhibitors prevent the formation of rust, ensuring the longevity and reliability of mechanical components.
We also provide specialised products for thickeners, which are essential for maintaining the desired consistency and stability of grease under various operating conditions. Our yellow metal deactivators are designed to protect copper and other yellow metals from corrosion, which can be particularly important in mixed-metal environments.
Antioxidants are another critical component in our additive lineup. These additives prevent the oxidation of grease, thereby extending its effective lifespan and maintaining its performance characteristics over time. Tackifiers, on the other hand, enhance the adhesive properties of grease, ensuring it remains in place even under challenging conditions.
Our grease additives are formulated to meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. Whether you need to improve extreme pressure resistance, enhance anti-wear protection, prevent rust, or stabilise grease consistency, our additives provide the necessary enhancements to keep your machinery running smoothly and efficiently. With our diverse range of products, we are equipped to address the most demanding lubrication challenges and help you achieve optimal performance and longevity in your applications.

Despite numerous cleanings, the productivity of the Reverse Osmosis plant would not recover from severe membrane fouling. The membrane autopsy revealed that the ferric hydroxide was seeding
silica polymerization and that even while the ferric hydroxide was removed, the silica scaling was continuing to grow.
The plant was experiencing weekly shutdowns for fiber clean up (~ 3 kg bags of matted slurry is cleaned per week). The shut downs were costly as they reduce plant availability for production.
The International Maritime Organisation (IMO) regulation, known as IMO 2020 was the the largest change in regulation relating to marine fuels impacting 75% of the fuel used by the shipping industry.
