Future Roads – Reducing Aotearoa’s Carbon Footprint

The 2023 Future Roads industry conference will be kicking off in November after a very successful inaugural event last year.

The focus themes this year include:

  • Leadership and Governing Strategy
  • Procurement
  • Sustainability and Emissions Reduction
  • Technology
  • Materials
  • Smart Traffic Signal Technologies and Control Centres

At AS Harrison & Co we are eager to learn of the updated government strategies to best position ourselves to support the market.

As excited as we are for the materials and technology themed presentations, we will be paying close attention to the updated government strategy, as this will provide the pathway to which materials and technologies are preferred to reduce Aotearoa’s carbon footprint.

We will be showcasing a few key products that we believe already align with the Government’s strategy and our road construction operating partners requirements.

Some of these include:

  • Viscosity modifying organic additive for the production of warm mix asphalt (WMA)
  • Additives for bituminous coatings and asphalt applications, e.g., adhesion agent and emulsifiers
  • Latex for cationic emulsions
  • Foam Bitumen Stabilisation Additive
  • Colloidal Silica
  • Polyphosphoric acid
  • Additive for compounding, processing and recycling rubber

We are excited to see you all again and meet some new faces! Reach out if you have any questions.

Visit us at the Future Roads Conference from 8-9 November at Claudelands Events Centre, Hamilton. BOOTH #29
