Specialty and multi-use applications require versatile corrosion inhibitors capable of providing reliable protection in diverse environments.
M-645 is a float coat specifically designed to inhibit corrosion in vessels containing saltwater or brine. This unique formulation floats on the surface of the water, forming a self-healing protective film on adjacent metals. M-645 offers effective corrosion protection in marine and industrial settings, ensuring the longevity and integrity of metal surfaces exposed to corrosive saltwater environments.
The S-11 Series consists of corrosion inhibitors tailored for aqueous systems with low pH levels, making them ideal for applications such as acid pickling, chemical cleaning, water-based coatings, and inks. These inhibitors offer robust protection against corrosion, even in acidic environments, preserving the integrity of metal components and enhancing the performance of industrial processes.
In powder form, the VpCI® range provides versatile corrosion protection for ferrous and non-ferrous metals in a variety of applications. This range includes water-based rust preventative concentrates designed for recessed areas and fire sprinkler systems. VpCI® inhibitors form a protective barrier on metal surfaces, preventing corrosion and extending the service life of equipment and infrastructure in industrial, marine, and fire protection applications.
Specialty and multi-use applications demand corrosion inhibitors capable of meeting specific performance requirements and environmental conditions. Whether it’s M-645 for corrosion protection in saltwater vessels, the S-11 Series for acidic environments, or the VpCI® range for versatile protection in various applications, these corrosion inhibitors offer tailored solutions for diverse industrial needs. By effectively inhibiting corrosion and extending the lifespan of metal components, these specialised inhibitors contribute to the reliability, efficiency, and safety of industrial operations across a wide range of applications.

Despite numerous cleanings, the productivity of the Reverse Osmosis plant would not recover from severe membrane fouling. The membrane autopsy revealed that the ferric hydroxide was seeding
silica polymerization and that even while the ferric hydroxide was removed, the silica scaling was continuing to grow.
The plant was experiencing weekly shutdowns for fiber clean up (~ 3 kg bags of matted slurry is cleaned per week). The shut downs were costly as they reduce plant availability for production.
The International Maritime Organisation (IMO) regulation, known as IMO 2020 was the the largest change in regulation relating to marine fuels impacting 75% of the fuel used by the shipping industry.
