RESIFLOW®

Resiflow® leveling agents are used to formulate coatings for a smooth, defect-free surface. These additives are based on high-performance acrylic polymers adsorbed onto silica via Estron’s proprietary adsorption technology. Specialty Resiflows may offer additional benefits that include recoatability, edge coverage and contamination resistance.

CP-77
A reprocessing aid for minimising or eliminating powder coating surface imperfections such as craters or colour specs caused by cross-contamination during manufacture. A typical amount of 0.25 – 0.5% of Resiflow CP-77 is added to the contaminated flakes or powder, premixed, reextruded, and then further processed in the conventional manner.
RESIFLOW®
P-64F
Specialty flow control agent designed for powder coating systems. It is based on the carboxyl functional acrylic polymer product Resiflow L-64F which has been converted into free-flowing powder by adsorption onto silica-type carrier. Resiflow P-64F provides unique characteristics in a variety of powder coating formulations. Isocryl H-1871 formulations: key ingredient in one-shot, low to mid-gloss formulations PE-TGIC, hybrid and epoxy clearcoats: balance of good flow and clarity GMA Acrylic-DDDA clearcoat formulations: excellent recoatability, clarity and appearance classical, pigmented powder coatings: enhance pigment wetting and displace substrate moisture. Typical dosages of Resiflow P-64F may range from 0.5 to 2% based on total weight of the formulation.

67 / 67A
A flow and leveling agent known for its suitability and reliable performance across the spectrum of binder chemistries including polyesters, polyurethanes, hybrids, epoxies, and acrylics. Broad compatibility between powder coatings is another key characteristic.
RESIFLOW®
PL-200 / PL-200A / PL-200B
Noted for its superior flow and leveling characteristics, excellent recoatability and intercoat adhesion properties, all of which are essential attributes for powder coating primers. Surface defects such as orange peel, craters, pinholes, and other imperfections can be reduced or eliminated by incorporating 0.7-1.5% of Resiflow PL-200 into pigmented powder coating formulations. It is not recommended for use in clears. This product is widely used and known for its suitability and reliable performance across the spectrum of binder chemistries including polyesters, polyurethanes, hybrids, epoxies, and acrylics.

PL210
Noted for its outstanding performance in extremely demanding powder coating applications that require improved gloss, wet look and smoothness, compared to other classical type flow control additives.
RESIFLOW®
PL-330
Offers improvements over Resiflow PL-220 which has been commercially demonstrated to impart improved compatibility. Improved cross product compatibility can lead to lower manufacturing cost due to reductions in both rework and clean up during product change overs. In addition to the benefits of Resiflow PL-220, Resiflow PL-330 offers enhanced robustness regarding contamination from powders based on super durable polyester technology whether crosslinked with TGIC or hydroxyalkyl amide. Powder coatings containing Resiflow PL-330 also demonstrate significantly improved recoat adhesion.

LV-67
An industry recognised standard acrylic polymer flow and leveling additive used in general industrial and coil coating systems to improve air release and reduce solvent popping. Typical dosage of Resiflow LV-67 is between 0.2-1.5%, and as with any raw material.
RESIFLOW®
LG-99
A non-silicone, flow, leveling and wetting additive for UV and solvent-based inks and coatings. Resiflow LG-99 can also be used in UV free radical, cationic cure systems, solvent-based acrylics, phenolics, epoxies, polyesters, polyurethanes, nitrocellulose lacquers, and other systems. Typical dosage is 0.1-3.0% based on total formula. Dilute Resiflow LG-99 in a desired monomer or solvent prior to incorporating into the formulation. Performance features: Promotion of flow, leveling and substrate wetting. Elimination of pinholes, and air entrapment. No interference with clarity and
gloss at various levels. High synergy with silicone wetting and defoaming additives. Moderate surface tension modification when used alone. Promotes hot stampability. Eliminates defects in wet-on-wet applications. Minimizes usage of silicones.
RESIFLOW®
L-65F
An acrylic flow control agent that is used mainly in solvent borne automotive clearcoats such as two component urethane, polyester-melamine or polyacrylic-melamine. In addition to providing excellent leveling, Resiflow L-65F also affords three other notable attributes: Excellent clarity in non-pigmented systems. Improve formulation robustness and cratering resistance from overspray. Good anti-pop / solvent-popping characteristic. The recommended dosage of Resiflow L-65F is 0.2-1.5% based on binder solids.

LX-50
A solid acrylic flow and leveling agent that aids in elimination of craters and pinholes, can reduce orange peel, and improve substrate wetting.
RESIFLOW®
L-39
A low molecular weight acrylic polymer designed for use in high solids, UV curing, coil, and other coating formulations to improve coating rheology during application and cure. Resiflow® L-39 can also reduce surface defects such as pinholes and craters by facilitating air release. It has excellent compatibility with many coating systems including acrylic, alkyd, phenolic, epoxy, polyester, polyurethane, nitrocellulose lacquer, and other systems. The recommended usage level is between 0.2 – 1.5% calculated on the resin binder.
