We take quality seriously.
We recognise that quality management is not just a job for one person, but a culture that runs through an entire organisation.
A S Harrison & Co utilise an Integrated Management System that manages all activities relating to Environment, Safety, Health and Quality (ESHQ) standards. Our processes are regularly reviewed and audited internally and by Best Practice. We have been certified to ISO 9001 since 1994 and ISO 14001 since 2017. Furthermore, we maintain certification of HACCP and ACOS standards to accommodate the diverse needs of our customers.
We are always striving to continually improve our quality and environment management processes to ensure that our customers can be certain that our products and services can be relied upon at all times. Our robust quality management systems ensure minimum problems while remaining flexible to meet our customer’s needs.

Compliance
A S Harrison & Co has extensive experience working with regulators and industry bodies in Australia and New Zealand. We are able to negotiate the difficult environment of dealing with NICNAS, TGA, AQIS, EPA (NZ) and many smaller regulators such as state and local authorities where necessary.
In addition to our work with these regulators, we have developed experience in dealing with food compliance activities with bodies such as FSANZ. Our customers can be sure that our compliance activities extend to ensuring that we provide customers with all the necessary information and certifications to meet their business and regulatory requirements.
Environmental Management
A S Harrison & Co knows that managing the environmental impacts of our operations is important, not just for us, but for our customers as well.
We are proud to announce we have successfully achieved certification for ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System (EMS) on 3 January 2017.
A S Harrison & Co is one of the first distributors in Australia to gain the EMS accreditation and by doing so you can feel confident dealing with us knowing that we are doing our best to identify, manage, monitor and control our environmental risks in a comprehensive fashion.
Benefits of an Environmental Management System are:
- Manage compliance with current and future statutory and regulatory requirements

- Improve strategic communication with both internal and external key stakeholders
- Achieve strategic business aims by incorporating environmental issues into business management
