Oxymelt® degassing agents eliminate pinholes without sacrificing film build. The superior yellowing resistance of the products makes them particularly suitable for applications that cannot tolerate discoloration associated with the use of benzoin.
Oxymelt®additives can also be used to minimize residue buildup in ovens caused by the re-crystallization of benzoin that has volatilized during cure. These additives can also be used in conjunction with benzoin to maximize synergy between the chemistries.

Oxymelt A-2 is noted primarily for its degassing capability in powder coatings cured in gas ovens. This degassing agent is well suited for polyesterHAA and polyurethane systems that emit volatiles during cure, and it is also appropriate for other traditional powder coating systems such as polyester-TGIC, hybrids, acrylics and epoxies.

Product and customer insights
Despite numerous cleanings, the productivity of the Reverse Osmosis plant would not recover from severe membrane fouling. The membrane autopsy revealed that the ferric hydroxide was seeding
silica polymerization and that even while the ferric hydroxide was removed, the silica scaling was continuing to grow.
