Natural Sources of Vitamins A, C and E

Berries of Sea Buckthorn are one of the best known natural sources of vitamins A, C and E. It also includes carotenes, B-vitamins, EFA’s and flavonoids. The Sea Buckthorn berry contains 8 vitamins, 24 minerals, and 18 amino acids.

Potent Source of Palmitoleic Acid

The Sea Buckthorns (Hippophae L.) are deciduous shrubs in the genus Hippophae and features a deep red colour due to its high carotene content which includes valuable lycopene. Berry Oil is the most potent source of palmitoleic acid (C16:1) with values as high as 34%. This fatty acid supports cellular regeneration as a component of the skin fat and makes the skin soft and smooth.

High Carotene Content

High carotene content which includes valuable lycopene and palmitoleic acid, carotenoids, tocopherols and phytosterols. Among the carotenes found in Sea Buckthorn are alpha – and beta – carotene, lycopene, cryptoxanthin, zeaxanthin, taraxanthin and phytofluin. It also contains flavonoids, omega 3 and 6, DHA and numerous trace elements.
