Aviation turbine engine oil is vital for maintaining the efficiency and longevity of aircraft engines, serving both civil and military aviation needs. With a diverse range of options available, including mineral-based and synthetic formulations, these oils are engineered to deliver exceptional performance and protection, ensuring smooth operation even in the most demanding flight conditions.
Aircraft type gas turbine lubricants offer a comprehensive solution for engine lubrication, combining proven aviation engine oils with unique additive packages. Mineral-based aviation gas turbine oil utilises a blend of trusted aviation engine mineral oil base stock and an ashless additive package, providing reliable lubrication and protection against wear and corrosion.
Synthetic aviation gas turbine oil stands out for its adaptability in extreme conditions, particularly in situations where low temperatures restrict the use of higher viscosity engine oils. Engineered with advanced synthetic base oils and specialised additives, these oils ensure optimal performance and protection, enhancing engine reliability and safety.
Synthetic aircraft turbine engine lubricating oil caters to the specific needs of civil and military aviation applications, offering enhanced performance and durability. Versions such as Synthetic Aircraft Turbine Engine Lubricating Oil, HTS/HPC grade, and Synthetic Aircraft Turbine Engine Lubricating Oil, HPC grade, provide tailored solutions for various aircraft types and operating conditions. From commercial airliners to military jets, these synthetic lubricants deliver superior lubrication and protection, contributing to overall aircraft efficiency and safety.
Aviation turbine engine oil plays a crucial role in maintaining the performance and longevity of aircraft engines. Whether utilising mineral-based or synthetic formulations, these oils are designed to meet the unique demands of aviation operations, ensuring smooth and reliable engine performance in diverse flight conditions.

Despite numerous cleanings, the productivity of the Reverse Osmosis plant would not recover from severe membrane fouling. The membrane autopsy revealed that the ferric hydroxide was seeding
silica polymerization and that even while the ferric hydroxide was removed, the silica scaling was continuing to grow.
The plant was experiencing weekly shutdowns for fiber clean up (~ 3 kg bags of matted slurry is cleaned per week). The shut downs were costly as they reduce plant availability for production.
The International Maritime Organisation (IMO) regulation, known as IMO 2020 was the the largest change in regulation relating to marine fuels impacting 75% of the fuel used by the shipping industry.
